A for Arizona announced today 15 awardees of Arizona Transportation Modernization Grant Program, an initiative to modernize K-12 transportation options and improve access to reliable and safe transportation for students. The grant program provides resources to incubate ideas to improve transportation access for K-12 students and to accelerate transit innovation and efficiency.

“For the past two years, we have seen incredible innovations and ideas from our local school leaders when it comes to reimagining our school transportation system,” said Kevin Youngblood, President and CEO of A for Arizona. “This grant has proven that the solutions to our current transportation challenges exist, but we need to support and empower school leaders who understand the needs of their students and community. We have been impressed by the quality and caliber of the awardees and look forward to seeing the impact of their transportation programs.”
