PROGRAM FUNDED: Nogales Unified School District is responding to an emerging need in their community for families by launching a collaborative partnership with the Boys & Girls Club – Nogales to provide an extended–day learning hub for students to have access to tutoring while also obtaining necessary child supervision.

SCHOOL TESTIMONIAL:

“Our team has been enjoying not only the opportunity to begin collaborating but to purchase items that will make an educational difference for the children participating in the BGC programs. We even worked together during the onsite COVID19 vaccinations of children at Lincoln where the BGC allowed the school to use the BGC parking area to assist with the limited school parking which was greatly appreciated. We were then able to include the BGC as a partner in a Santa Cruz County School Superintendent grant. This grant has already opened our eyes and hearts to look for additional ways we can benefit the children we both serve.”
